Strategies you use to solve one problem are often found in another. These problems are 20% of your total math grade depending upon the quarter. Each problem that is assigneed must be placed in your purple math folder and kept! The work pertaining to the problem should begin the on the page following the master sheet. All problems must have the following steps:
1. Restate the question or assignment in your own words and explain the problem.
2. Plan a way that you would solve the problem and write how you are going to go about it.
3. Show all of your work including tables, graphs, pictures, calulcations, etc...
4. Solution-simply write the answer to the problem or where in the problem it can be found.
5. Comment - this is an anaysis of the problem, what patterns you found and what you noticed. It also lets you describe any connections you find to other problems.
6. Rate the problem - this is work an additional 5 points and is not required. The rating must include what you liked about the problem, disliked, and whether you found it fun or interesting.
